Amber Boardman’s video adds a fascinating visual story to William Blake’s poem. In this curious time, the phrase “thou shalt not writ on the door” reminded me of the grander cemeteries in North London. Cycling past them I was struck by the feeling of forbiddance from the locked gates, which is also reflected in the video.
